The Newgrounds Player doesn't ask for your username and password.

On the part that says "Unknown Publisher wants to make changes", that's normal for most installations from installers downloaded from the internet. If I recall, this is because most installer need administrator permissions to install properly.

Just make sure that you downloaded the Player from Newgrounds itself and not from other sites. Here's a link:
https://www.newgrounds.com/flash/player

thank you i will download it tommorow

Oh and before I forget, the Newgrounds Player doesn't work right now because an update caused Windows to block flash.

In case that happens, here is a solution by Sonucais:
https://sonucais.newgrounds.com/news/post/1137244

There are plans to update the Newgrounds Player to address this issue but I don't think it is released yet.

Alternatively, you can force Ruffle emulation by adding this to your address bar:
/format/flash?emulate=flash
This way, you can play flash content on your browser. This won't work on all submissions though.

thank you uwu i will try to download it today uwu

@Mikoma also when you said ng player doesnt ask for your username or password i meant at the unknown publisher part it asks your username and password just letting you know and thank you for the link uwu

@nyexcatt2 Odd, I just reinstalled it today on my laptop and it didn't ask me for the username or password. It just gave a Yes/No prompt.

thats weird should i be censored about that?

@nyexcatt2 does it ask the username and password of your Newgrounds account or of your computer?

not exactly sure it just asks username and password

@nyexcatt2 I'll send you a PM about what I see when I install the player. Hopefully it helps you out.

thank you i thin it asks for username and pasword because im on a different laptop and probably a securety feature and so yeah i will try to download it hopefully everything goes fine uwu

@Mikoma i try to put my password to the unknown publisher part but i wont take it

@Mikoma also remember when i said the unknown publisher needed username or password i was using the school computer, but when i tried downloading the ng player the unknown publisher said the yes or no option like the one you got i still dont know if i should click yes because of the global killswitch thing

@nyexcatt2 You need to click "Yes" if you want to install it. It's just asking for your permission to install. When you click "Yes", it will install the program.

The global killswitch thing is just flash being blocked by windows and it being unsupported by browsers. There are workarounds in the news post I sent you to get flash working again:
https://sonucais.newgrounds.com/news/post/1137244

ok thank you sorry for this message i will download it see what happens hopefulkly nothing bad happens

@Mikoma well i just did everything seems fine and when i launched the player it opened a newgrounds tab with the flash logo on it and theirs a file option that says load do i click it?

@nyexcatt2 It's showing that flash is blocked in your system, it will show the same thing on other programs that use flash.

You have multiple options:
1. Go to the news post I sent you and check if there is a solution there that would work for you.

2. You can change the date of your system to before the end of flash date (like set the year to 2020). It should allow flash to run in your system again. (I don't really recommend this, since there may be other stuff in you system that relies on the date. It's also a hassle to keep on changing the date every time you use flash.)

3. You can wait for the Newgrounds Player to get an update and then reinstall the player. They are looking for ways to make the flash usable again during the install process so you don't have to modify files yourself, but I don't know when the update will be released.

The "load" option under the File tab is to locate local swf files that you've downloaded and load it into the player.

damn it i think i will wait for ng player to be updated thank you

@Mikoma i also forgot to say i deleted the ng player so i will download the updated ng player
